Some things I learned about Fauvism from Helen's art history movie is that Henri Matisse is considered the founding father of Fauvism, it was an aftermath of the Franco-persian war, Fauvism inspired the Cubism movement, Fauvism also inspired many painters in the later Cubism movement.
