In Caroline's food painting, she used a variety of techniques to create the texture of chicken, vegetables, and egg to create a realistic aspect of this painting. It has been proven that she used small brushes to create a more detail-oriented piece through her use of lines in the egg to make it look more three-dimensional. To elaborate on this, she used modeling paint for a more realistic look on the eggs. Also, it looks like she used a sponge to create a look of black pepper on the chicken, creating unique values, unlike anyone else's painting. Overall, her use of detail and form-based in her color techniques is very well done.
