One of the painting that used triadic schemes is The Scream by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch in 1893. the color included in the schemes are red, blue, and green. the orange red creates a rich and bright background while the blue and green are darker to support the sky. 

A painting that has analogous color scheme is the The Water Lily Pond by Claude Monet, drawn in 1899.  Monet used neighboring colors on the color wheel such as light green, dark green, and blue. he used light greens to indicate the part of the plants where the light hits and dark green for the shadows. Additionally, he also added some blue paint as part of the lake to break the constant reflections of the plants and add some 'wave' to the surface of the water.
