Introducing Berthe Morisot by Cassie Bree

     Berthe Morisot was born on January 14, 1841, in Bourges, France, and lived until March 2nd of 1895. She lived her life in Paris, France as she lived her life painting. A quote by this amazing female artist is "A love of nature is a consolation against failure." This quote is giving a further explanation of just how dedicated she was to paint.

The Cage, published in 1885, is an example of a beautiful piece of work done by Berthe and exemplifies her art style of impressionism and use of texture.
